A Joyful, Interactive 13-Week Phonics & Literacy Course
Where Music, Movement, and Food Make Reading Click for Scholars Ages 4–8.
Your child loves to move, play, and create but when it comes to sitting still for phonics drills, they lose interest fast. You know they are smart. You know they can learn. But you need a learning experience that matches their energy, culture, and curiosity.
What if learning to read felt like playtime in the kitchen?
That is exactly what Sound Bites with Mama Ama delivers.
For two hours a week, scholars don’t just memorize letters—they live them.
This isn't quiet "sit and get" instruction. This is loud, joyful, multi-sensory learning. Through music, finger plays, dance, and word play, scholars explore phonemes and foundational reading skills. Younger learners build confidence with sounds and letters, while older scholars level up with blending, spelling, vocabulary, and reading.
We take the lesson to the kitchen table. Scholars practice new vocabulary and listening skills while preparing simple, low-mess recipes. They follow directions, use their hands, and make real-world connections. It’s where the word "slice" becomes an action, a taste, and a memory.
No big mess. No complicated prep. Just learning you can taste.
✅ Two Hours, Perfectly Balanced: It’s not a screen-time marathon. It’s an interactive experience where scholars move, cook, sing, and write.
✅ Mama Ama Leads, You Support: You do not have to teach the lesson or lead the cooking. Prepare the ingredients, and Mama Ama handles the magic on screen.
✅ Differentiation Built-In: Whether your child is 4 and just learning letters, or 8 and learning to spell, the activities scale to their level.
✅ Low-Mess, High-Fun: We use simple ingredients and manageable steps designed for little hands.
✅ Culturally Affirming: High-energy, rhythm-rich, and joyful education that celebrates who your child is.
Every week, scholars build on their skills through structured instruction and play.
Phonics & Spelling: Learning sounds, blends, and words through song and movement.
Handwriting & Fine Motor Skills: Strengthening pencil grip through fun activities.
Kitchen Literacy: Reading recipes, sequencing steps, and exploring new vocabulary.
Story time: Settling down with engaging books that spark imagination.
At the end of the school year, scholars will have the opportunity to showcase their growth, confidence,
and new skills in a celebratory Sound Bites Spelling Bee.
A joyful 13-week course where phonics, music, movement, and food come
